Research Analysis of Algorithmic Response
THE NUMERIC LANGUAGE of MUSIC®
by Patty Carlson

Music defined: a numeric language of structural form and motion with a
mathematical base of 7.
Seven musical tones with a defined distance between them in the music scale (numeric scale of vibrations per second) is the mathematical base of structural form from which the Numeric Language of Music® is derived. This tonal relationship, seven musical tones with a defined distance between each tone in the music scale, is referred to as the Primary Tonal Alphabet.
The word "alphabet" refers to the basic elements in the language which
combine to form complex structural form. The word "primary" refers to
the importance of the number of musical tones (seven) and the interval
relationship between them in the music scale.
The Primary Tonal Alphabet is the mathematical structural form of tonal
relationship from which the Numeric Language of Music® algorithms
originate.
The circuitry of the human brain appears to be responding to the
algorithms generated from introducing the mathematical sequences
of structural form and motion by initiating accelerated cognitive and
remedial brain capacity performance, analagous to computer programming.
Documented response to the introduction of the numeric sequences of
structural form and motion include, but were not limited to, significant
reversal of symptoms of advanced dementia/Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's
disease, long term stroke disability, autism, childhood apraxia of speech.
Student math and reading scores rapidly advanced from D's and failing to
98 and 100%. Psychological behavioral health improved within days.
The results do not appear to be age restrictive.

EXCITING NEW TEST RESULTS
*************************

During our recent testing of the Numeric Language of Music® program, I was contacted by a mother whose older daughter was struggling a lot emotionally, very stressed, was having outbursts, and could not focus.

Similar to students struggling with behavioral health issues reported extensively in the news, I was interested in finding out how the Numeric Language of Music program would perform in a psychological behavioral test.

Even I, having consistently witnessed unprecedented acceleration in cognitive and remedial brain capacity performance results, was stunned by how fast the changes occurred.

The mother wrote to me saying her daughter had done a 180 degree shift, in a matter of days!!!

The mother also contacted my office leaving the following message with her permission to share with you.

**UPDATE:MESSAGE from PATTY CARLSON

The Numeric Language of Music is as complex a language as the massive amounts of Western music literature imply.

When saying the program is a simplistic program easily learned or taught, I am referring to the abbreviated application for special needs children, and for use by health care workers or families of  Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, stroke patients, or any brain function disorders a child or adult may be experiencing.

Parents, family members and health care workers can follow the links to

                               LEARN THE PROGRAM FOR FREE

Accelerated cognitive and remedial changes documented by parents and health care workers were initiated using the information presented in the video and the companion instructional book. Additional numeric sequences included in the book are a necessary component of the program.

The results documented with Alzheimer's patients were achieved by the caregiver placing each correct finger on the piano keyboard, and pressing the client's finger down to play the succession of musical tones of the program.

THE FUTURE OF THE NUMERIC LANGUAGE OF MUSIC®
PLAY THE PIANO OVERNIGHT!® FOR MORE INFORMATION!

The US Patented Numeric Language of Music® program is a simple
mathematically based sequence of musical tones played on a piano or
electronic keyboard.

Over a period of three months study, parents have
reported their children’s math and reading scores increased from D’s
and failing to 98 and 100%.

Tested with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and long
term stroke disability, symptoms reversed in all three cases. The program
successfully reversed symptoms for children with ADD, ADHD, Asperger’s syndrome, and Childhood Apraxia of Speech.

I believe the Numeric Language of Music® program has discovered a
defined mathematical language of tonal progression to which the circuitry of the human brain responds. Similar to computer code, it is possible we are at the door of tremendous understanding of an innate, inherent language of the human brain. The implications of an access code initiating accelerated cognitive and remedial capacity are far reaching in all aspects of potential application.

We are seeking collaborative research testing of this program
to establish concrete scientific evidence of our hypothesis.

CHILDHOOD APRAXIA of SPEECH

"CAS is sometimes called verbal dyspraxia or developmental apraxia. Even though the word “developmental" is used, CAS is not a problem that children outgrow."American Speech-Language-Hearing Association

Can apraxia be overcome?"Some children with developmental speech disorders outgrow them. But CAS is not outgrown and there is no cure".  kars4kids.org

August, 2019 I gave the Numeric Language of Music Program manual to a family who's oldest son was performing at a third grade level entering fifth grade. Their three year old son was diagnosed with childhood apraxia of speech.

I received a letter from the mother telling me of changes that have occurred three months after they began the program with the children.  I would like to share a brief excerpt from the letter followed by the grandmother's remarks:

"Cale is expressing himself with words that I am able to understand. Not only can I understand him but a stranger could actually make out 70% of what he was saying. It felt like such a big leap in just 3 short months of doing this program. His teachers were so impressed with being able to understand his needs instead of playing a guessing game where everyone would just end up frustrated." Cale's mother.

"I can understand almost everything he says now."  Cale's grandmother

"My oldest son started out 5th grade at a 3rd grade level in basically everything. During the first parent teacher conference they were showing me where he had started and where he needs to be by the end of the year but did not seem very hopeful in him being able to catch up. Boy did he prove them wrong! He went from reading at a 3.4 reading level to a 5.8 in just 3 months. His math teacher even said that he has never seen a student improve in math so quickly and was so impressed with him." Kaden's mother

COMING SOON!

Patty Carlson began playing the piano at 21.  Play the Piano Overnight is a new book documenting Patty's remarkable journey from teaching herself how to play the piano to authoring the Numeric Language of Music, a new music education program that increased student academic performance from D's and failing to 100% in math, reading and science. Continuing on her journey, read of how the program reversed symptoms related to Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Multiple System Atrophy, Stroke disability, and Asperger's Syndrome.  A remarkable journey from Patty's first hand experience!

"Music is the universal language of mankind” is a 19th century quote from Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Patty Carlson's Numeric Language of Music program has discovered why music actually is the universal language of mankind.

Patty Carlson defined music as "a numeric language of structural form and motion with a mathematical base of 7".

"The Numeric Language of Music® is the innate, inherent language of the human brain. Similar to computer code, the Numeric Language of Music® is a language to which the circuitry of the human brain responds. It's code." Patty Carlson

A Brief Treatise on the Numeric Language of Music®
by Patty Carlson

Scientific research of the relationship between music and the brain documents multiple areas music affects the brain.  "Learning to play a musical instrument makes you smarter" is a familiar phrase. Neuroscientists, many of whom are proficient musicians, reference documented changes in brain development, academic performance, biological changes, and stress relief, among other findings, associated with the study of music, or listening to music. What is missing, until now, is understanding the nature of the relationship. Why does the human brain respond to music?
The human brain responds to music because music is the innate, inherent and native language of the human brain. Analogous to computer code, music is a language to which the circuitry of the human brain responds.

Previously, in my writings, I distinguished my work by having altered the functional role of the alphabetic symbols in the curriculum.  Removing the use of alphabetic symbols as a means of conveying musical information eliminated massive amounts of redundant information.

The significance of my authorship is only partially related to the alphabetic symbols. A critical distinction of my music education program, and what I suspect may be the initiating cause of accelerated cognitive and remedial changes in students, is the math. The Numeric Language of Music curriculum teaches the twelve tone even-tempered system of Western music as a language, based on and represented by the numeric values 1 through 7.

Conventional music education curriculum is inextricably dependent on the functional role of alphabetic symbols as a means to convey musical information. Further, the mathematical algorithms, or the numeric values used to represent the structural form of music taught in the curriculum, are inaccurate.  In order to maintain theoretical premises of the curriculum, the mathematics are contrived to substantiate the doctrine.

The simplicity of the program I authored does not imply limited application.  The Numeric Language of Music curriculum is currently being formatted as a complete music education program.  The upcoming music education curriculum includes classes in music composition, transposition, performance techniques, orchestration, improvisation, theory, reading music, and film scoring classes. Film scoring classes include vast knowledge of the emotional content of the language of music and how the vocabulary of the language is applied to increase the emotional response of the audience to the story of the film. Visit Play the Piano Overnight® for more information in the development and production of the new progressive music education curriculum.

In private practice, the introduction of the Numeric Language of Music® program produced extraordinary, indeed, at the time, not rationally understood as possible, student composition and performance ability, in two days.  Student reading scores have advanced from a first grade level to a fifth grade level. Handwriting advanced from the worst in the class to the best in the class. Math scores increased from D’s and failing to 100%.  Similar results were evident with special needs children.

Curious to see if the music program would have any benefit for people suffering from neurodegenerative disease, I began teaching the program at the local assisted living center. I was privileged for the opportunity to teach the basic program to several of the residents. In a relatively short amount of time, symptoms in Alzheimer's patients, Parkinson's, and stroke disability reversed.  “I was stunned” remarked the resident brain injury specialist who monitored the results.

I no longer teach in a private practice.  Rather, I have spent a lengthy amount of time developing the Numeric Language of Music® curriculum for use by educational facilities and music teachers, or to be studied online by the general public.

I would like to thank the many national and international universities, and colleges, renowned tech companies, pharmaceutical companies, research institutes and global corporations who have visited the Piano Logic web site and read of my work over the past several years. The list includes some of the most prestigious corporations and universities of the world.
